Chickens. A regal creature, long respected, domesticated, and eaten (if you don't like that they're all from the same Wikipedia article, go to hell!). Sometimes, though, they can make for messy hall monitors. That's why police are searching for the perpetrators who deposited the feathery egg factories in Northeast High School.
